Indeedy. Blue passports printed in Poland instead of the old burgundy passports that were printed in Gateshead

Not the slightest suprised. Habib, Lowe and now Yusuf. These people were only there for self interest and when that is threatened or diminishes they are off. Just like Musk across the pond.

If any leader in any situation thinks that kindness is a weakness, all they are doing is demonstrating their own insecurity.

Love the way his tweet exemplifies the mentally insane for who he seems to hold a particular hatred.

I don’t think I will ever get bored of asking melons who voted for and still insist that Brexit was a good thing, to name a single benefit it has delivered.

In the World we live in today, we need more people like Mark Carney.

Spot on Uma. A pedantic but important point though regarding ‘this government must deliver’. You are ‘this government’ so perhaps ‘we must deliver’ is more appropriate 😗

With all due respect to people who voted / vote for Reform. Are they just fickle people by nature or too easily manipulated?

Some newspaper headlines tomorrow morning might be about Zelenskyy being humiliated. But I think all that happened today was the World saw Trump and especially Vance for who they really are and for what they stand for 🇺🇦

The only person gambling on World War III is Trump with his love-in with Putin. The World needs diplomacy, not thuggery.

By her own definition she is not English 🤦🏽‍♂️

So we get to vote out these Aspire idiots next year?

She needs to step up. This is a time to be dignified but dignity seems to be in short supply on the benches she sits on.

I didn’t think he had it in him, but well done Macron for standing up and countering Trump’s lies 👏🏽

The person who had done more damage to UK farming than any government policy or weather catastrophe since the 1960s is a speaker at their event? The group may be in’s short supply of brain cells 🤦🏽‍♂️

And his proposal? To abolish Air Passenger Duty which if happens, will only benefit the airlines as they will keep their prices where they are. The reason why we pay so much for air travel is because our airports are way over capacity.

Brilliant - again 👏👏👏👏👏

First and foremost, my thoughts are with the victims. These are barbaric and heinous crimes. I will however wager a few bob that this will not make tomorrow’s Daily Mail, Express or Telegraph front pages. As for Farage, he must be fuming.

Interesting how the likes of Oakeshott who choose to live in another country call themselves expats, but call those who choose to live in the UK, immigrants.

Speaking to the police officer I understand, but surely speaking to the convicted criminals just gives them what they crave. More platforms 🤷🏽‍♂️

Absolutely agree and perhaps we should also stop London based insurers (all based in Aldgate) from providing cover to Russian oil tankers.

Is she suffering from memory loss? She voted for Bozo and May’s Brexit withdrawal agreements. She served as International Trade Secretary under Truss and Sunak with the specific job to deliver Brexit trade deals, but never mentioned there was no plan then🤦‍♂️

Surely, fighting back just gives him more oxygen and distracts us from getting the job done? Perhaps ignore, unless asked by the media and respond with facts and crack on with the job.

They also need to take a look at Musk’s record on the issue of child grooming and abuse. The biggest risk of children being groomed is through social media platforms and their inaction allowing perpetrators unchecked reign. Platforms like X

At the time of the year when awards are dished out for person of the year by newspapers, international magazines etc, there is only one person that anybody should be giving that accolade to. I can’t think of anybody who has been braver than Gisèle Pelicot.

Fair point. I was being far too compassionate. I don't know what got into me as I am usually the Grinch this time of the year 🤷‍♂️

As an advocate for constructive testing and challenge of Government decisions, a good opposition is important. However, Badenoch’s performance to date has been embarrassing and sometimes cringeworthy. As a compassionate person, a small part of me has at times felt a little sorry for her 😬
comment in response to post
Can somebody ask Badenoch ‘which’ freedoms we now have as a result of Brexit? I must have been in a comma since Brexit as they seem to have passed by me 🤷🏽‍♂️
comment in response to post
Every bloody time a these people with their heads in the sand are asked about a Brexit benefit or what specifically hasn't worked about Brexit we get the same waffle. Just put your hands up and say "we f***** it up and Brexit was a mistake" and maybe the country can start to repair the damage.
