It looks insanely vile and fucked up. Games are wild now. Lol Did you see the Muppets Punch Out game?

They mobilized so damned fast. Fuck yeah.

Three more years of extreme austerity and the admin consistently pushing the bounds of the law, and breaking it when they see fit. They want to break our judicial system so they can become the law. It's insane. Our Dems aren't doing much to oppose them either, aside from posting online.

Oh yeah, he's definitely using the globe as a Fleshlight and lashing out at everyone, even people he's ideologically aligned with. I'm sorry our dogshit government is making things worse for you guys up there in Canada. He's definitely gone way farther off the rails than he did in his first term.
comment in response to post
He sanctioned two ICC judges during his first term. He's not exactly breaking new ground here. Yes, it's super shitty and monstrous, but he's done this bullshit before.

How is one man so chronically on the wrong side of history. Dude only has bad takes. It almost feels like a troll.

Alright, I was paying attention before, but now I'm following. Carry on.

That, the lie of WMDs, and all the other lies they told us to justify the invasion of a country that had nothing to do with 9/11. They already had the plans drawn up and were just looking for an excuse to invade Iraq so they could give no bid oil contracts to Dick Cheney's buddies at Halliburton.

Oh fuck him. I stopped buying his books when he started flirting with right wing ideology on the timeline. But not paying people for services rendered is trash tier bullshit. If you can't get a leg up without stepping on some necks then you don't deserve any of it.

I like Camp's writing quite a bit. He's one of the better writers I've encountered in the past few years. I really dig Children of the Vault and 20th Century Men. I'll probably give it a shot when the trade drops. How's the art in it?

That being said. There are a lot of great journalists out there, some that even work for legacy media, and I'm sure they wish they could make the same wages they make at those companies without the extreme editorial oversight.
comment in response to post
...when they lie, steal, cheat, break the law, and implement extreme austerity measures. I hope our legacy media companies burn and we find something more honest, with more journalistic integrity in its place. We deserve better.

Some of which they're demanding are put into academic receivership. Straight Nazi shit. They're passively manufacturing consent for the current admin with a tip of the hat, a wink and a nod, and allowing them to pursue more and more grossly illegal actions by not hitting them from every angle..
comment in response to post
It's not. In my lifetime,, and even before I was born, protesting college kids have been on the right side of history ninety nine percent of the time. They're still actively manufacturing consent for this nonsense and making it to where the current admin can extort campuses.
comment in response to post
Currently we're being sold a lie about how dangerous college kids and their ideology and protestation of American foreign policy and the actions of a foreign government that we support are. Every facet of media is telling us that these kids and their rhetoric are dangerous to national security.

I remember seeing the Twin Towers fall when I went into work, and I didn't realize that I was being lied to and manipulated by the media for a few years afterwards. The media sold everyone that lie at the behest the state department. My analysis of media since then has been much more critical.
comment in response to post
All of our institutional media companies are complicit in the manufacturing of consent for all the war crimes we've committed in my lifetime and for normalizing the actions of the current admin. They're wildly negligent in their reporting and commentary and often bury the lede.

Because I feel like he's that type of guy.

I remember just dying when Morrison dropped this. What a champ. I'm guessing Millar is still a giant piece of crap that doesn't mind not crediting his collaborations. Does he retain the rights to all of his books and not give the artists that he collaborates with any ownership of the IP?
comment in response to post
Was the raccoon quote about Morrison? I remember reading an interview with Moore from ages ago where he absolutely roasted Morrison as eloquently as any human has ever been roasted in history. I love them both, but it was one of the sickest burns ever. Just damn.

What a wild ass country. I remember a good while back the leader of the opposition party getting gunned down a block from the Kremlin and Putin being like "we have no idea who did it, guess we'll never know. Oh well". I'm still assuming they never caught the "perpetrators".
comment in response to post
Lol Thanks for all the great comics over the years. I love your art and the temporary reprieve from reality that your books provide.

What are the odds that Trump thinks Normandy is in Germany? Pretty good I'll bet.

She Could Fly by Chris Cantwell and Martín Morazzo. A amazing story by one of my favorite storytellers and Martín's art is phenomenal. Check it out.
comment in response to post
Is that Rob Williams writing it? His writing is pretty great. Although I've only ever read his creator owned projects.
comment in response to post
You guys should buy this book. Grim is an amazing artist and fantastic storyteller.
comment in response to post
Drifter by Ivan Brandon and Nic Klein. Check it out. It's weird, dark, fucked up, well written and the art is fantastic.
comment in response to post
Fuck yeah. Congrats to him.

Same. I love how "right to work" essentially means you have no rights. What's union participation at in the US now, ten percent, lower? And these clowns talk like union busting asshats.
comment in response to post
If people are arguing in favor of Air B&B and the commodification of housing and are using unions as a tool to drive home their point then they're monstrous pieces of shit that are working at the behest of capital. Their ideology should be ignored and they should be shunned.
comment in response to post
The Abundance clowns are the worst. It's just repackaged poisonous neoliberal ideology and policy with more deregulation. Probably at the behest of investment firms that want to build overpriced cheap housing that will kill you and your family. All so they can keep dominating the market.
comment in response to post
They get most of their talking points from third way neoliberal think tanks. The insane amounts of cringe emanating from every facet of the democratic party make total sense.
comment in response to post
It's a bit slower than people acclimating to fascism than the Stanford prison experiment or the third wave experiment were, but it seems that 4chan has infected and radicalized a lot of people with reactionary leanings. Twitter is 4chan now, Facebook is almost there. I'm sure they're not alone.

It begs the question, why wasn't everyone being more confrontational with the Israeli media apparatus initially or before October seventh?
comment in response to post
More like the last thirty or forty years.
comment in response to post
"holy crap!" is a statement devoid of consequence or context. Why don't you say that he wanted way more austerity and for Americans to suffer more. Contextualize the statement. Cowards. Or are you about to start throating this monstrous piece of shit?
comment in response to post
Maybe he can break up the three corporations in a trench coat that is South Korea. Lol
comment in response to post
Maybe if you and the democratic policy platform weren't so absolutely terrible then people would vote for Dems. You don't even care that people are experiencing actual harm beyond using it as a platform to campaign on. You're disgusting and you should retire.
comment in response to post
Optically, you like to pretend to support gay people, but in reality you don't give a fuck beyond finding us to be useful in the electoral process. If you actually cared you'd be doing more than posting and making stupid tik tok videos. Retire. You're useless to anyone that's marginalized.

Jeffries sucks so fucking hard. We need better leadership in the democratic party he and Schumer are wildly unequipped to deal with what's happening in our nation currently.
comment in response to post
They all, Dems and Rs support empire and constantly align on foreign policy. Which is generally disastrous for the rest of the world, and more devastating to the global south. Our empire aids and abets genocide anywhere it can. We are the baddies.
comment in response to post
Yeah, I'm aware that there's a great deal of institutional rot at the core of the democratic party. I also believe we need another option. Ninety nine percent of Dems are just country club republicans now. Have been for a while. They're guided by insidious third way neoliberal think tanks.
comment in response to post
You're the worst. A bright shining example of what democrats shouldn't be. Warmongering clowns. You're a sentient pair of clown shoes. Retire. I hope you lose your seat in the Senate. You're not the leadership we need currently.
comment in response to post
Retire. You suck. Nobody likes you little bro.
