OOOOooo this is interesting!! I rarely come across games of this genre based in Pakistan, so I am fascinated, and eager to see how they've done the environment design!

Maybe I should elaborate on the references thing: it is a self-critique. I tend to pressure myself into not using refs as I keep thinking "I should know how to do this by now".

It's been 10 yrs since I graduated & I still have unresolved ill-feelings from those interactions. Maybe it persists because I never un-learnt this trauma response of staying quiet because I don't want my anger to be weaponized against me ever again.

Somehow that has always been the expectation. Even when I was a student in Europe, that was the expectation. I had to listen to these self-proclaimed humanist A-holes shit on my identity, & then weaponize my anger against me.

I'm not a robot who can emotionally detach myself from everything & just focus on work. I wouldn't mind it if I could, I just want to enjoy making art for games & have pleasant interactions with people. When you shit on people with my skin color, do you really expect me to be okay with it?

I really wish I could break up with Adobe but I cant due to work >_<
I'm also so used to using the damn software for personal arts, that transitioning to CSP or Procreate has been difficult. But do share your experience, I want to know how it goes for you!
