What makes me a troll other than I think you are insincere

Not particularly, I think a lot of games handle non traditional resolutions to boss encounters in really clever ways amd thats cool. I just think this particular argument is deliberately worded to drive anger based engagement from the forces that make online discourse unpleasant.

I've not said a single insulting thing, I've just been very critical of your premise in plain language which is the very discourse you said you wanted.

Then why pick a fight no one is having over a problem that doesn't exist like skipping boss fights. Its not a serious argument that attempts to engage with game design in any thoughtful way. Its meant to get people to link your headline on social media and get mad.

New Atheism and rationalism suffered from the fundamental structural error of telling people that the outcome demonstrated intelligence rather than the process. They essentially rebuilt faith from first principles replacing "holy" with "rational" as long as fundamental tenets were believed.

You are very bad at reading and most likely thinking

It doesn't matter if you don't believe what you are arguing for will happen when it objectively will happen. Vaccine skeptics are arguing for child death even if they don't believe they are arguing for child death.

That the natural state of man is cooperative and that society as we understand is a corruption to that natural instinct in order to benefit the powerful over the powerless and that humanity as a whole would be better served by eliminating these institutions and returning to that natural state.

I dont even know where to start with how bad of an argument you are making here. Would you like to start with historical, anthropological, biological, or demonstrably obvious
comment in response to
post
No I correctly ascertained you were ignoring the obvious flaws in your philosophy through magical thinking
comment in response to

Alchemists believe there is a magic rock that turns lead into gold. It's also something with no basis in evidence and that's why we ignore it.

Ok hold on let me gently lay my hands under my chin as you explain how people are trained to participate in a collaborative society without an institutional subordination to the collective.

It can't be bad because it's published in a book that doesn't say bad things.
comment in response to

I keep using quotes from the text and you don't and it's because you know the text doesn't support your premise
comment in response to
post
Subordination is not subservience. Subordination is placing individual desire as less important than the collective good.
comment in response to
post
You are trying to argue the text doesn't say what the text literally says because you know what the text actually says is more unreasonable than what you personally think
comment in response to
post
Literally says "subordinated to a collectivity"
comment in response to

its literally in the text

The zine is literally arguing it's a bad thing that schools instill a communal sense of responsibility for the well being of the society
comment in response to

what part of leftist politics suggests the individual has no responsibility for the collective well being of the community
comment in response to

this book rules because it keeps talking as if things that are objectively good and cool are bad for some reason

I feel like you just keep saying words without knowing what words mean
