The author uses AI both for covers and writing, admitted as much on their now-scrubbed clean website. I would not promote this if you're concerned at all about the ethics of AI in the arts.

They will ask for "queer" books but will respond with "no FF, ewww". They can't uncenter men from their lives and actively dislike women. It's maddening.

My vet let me know that there's music for dogs, and I looked it up it's on Spotify, and supposedly it calms them down.

My dog is on Prozac, and for longer car rides, such as when I move cross country next year, he's going to have some trazodone to keep him sedated a bit. He likes to try to die when he's stressed, and that's not hyperbole. He's a French bulldog that loves to go into respiratory distress.
