Kierkegaard Reads Hegel - existentialcomics.com/comic/606

Fountain pen of the day: Another one from Ranga, this is their Samurai model, in blue and gold cracked acrylic. It’s curious how a brand can make a big difference in price. A similar Esterbrook Estie cost three times as much, with exactly the same materials. This one has a nice flex nib.

Fountain pen of the day: A Faber Castell Ambition in black rubber, it’s a solid choice from a good German brand, even if it’s more known for their color pencils. The nib has good quality and design.

Fountain pen of the day: Another piece from Ranga pens, this is a chunky one, the model 5 is a big clipless pen, in polished ebonite. It’s a very light pen, comfortable and the Jowo nib made it an excellent writer.

Fountain pen of the day: The Kaweko AL Sport, in rose gold. A nice and comfortable writer, in aluminum, it’s one of the most popular version of the Sport (lighter and more affordable than the steel, bronze or brass). But, seriously, I think the original resin ones are better.

Fountain Pen of the day: Another one from India, this is a beautiful Ranga model 3 pen, in blue, white and teal acrylic. Modeled after the Parker Duofold, it’s a big and comfortable writer, equipped with a Jowo nib.

Fountain pen of the day: A Kaweko Classic Sport, an special “Guilloche” edition, with patterns in the body and cap. A nice and reliable pocket writer, perhaps the best, after the Pilot E95s. The bronze clip solids separately, as always…

The flame of the void ( New art )

Fountain pen of the day: Another of my cherished Ranga pens, this one is a model 4CS a medium pen in brushed ebonite, with blue, white, red and pink swirls. It not only is a good looking pen, also the texture of the unpolished ebonite gives a feeling similar to a Lamy 2000. Very nice writer.

Fountain pen of the day: This is a Picasso 902, a gorgeous metallic pen with a golden cap that reproduces ‘La Rêve’, a famous painting by the Spanish artist. This pen is not only beautiful, but also a good quality writer.

Fountain pen of the day: A Ferris Wheel Press, the Little Miss Jubilee aluminum carousel. I’ve heard many different opinions about this brand. In particular, this pen is quite good with a wet fine nib and good weight and design.

Fountain pen of the day: A Platinum Plaisir, in golden aluminum. A little bigger than the Pilot Metropolitan, it’s a little lighter. Has a good nib and feel. Anyway, it hasn’t the fame of its Japanese competitor, despite being a solid choice.

Fountain pen of the day: One of my favorite pens, a Ranga Bamboo, in green acrylic. It’s a gorgeous piece in multi toned green, with a nice Jowo nib. It’s a big one, even if the brand has even bigger models. It’s lighter than it looks and a very nice writer. I added the copper ring as a stopper.

Fountain pen of the day: A Kaweko Student, in green and white resin. It’s a classic looking pen, with a good nib and weight. This edition had a variety of cap colors, representing music styles. Anyway, the combination of green, gold and white looks quite nice.

Vintage fountain pen of the day: An old Delta 366 in mustard and black resin. This pen was a shorter model than their 365. It came with a variety of nibs in steel/iridium and gold. It’s a good writer, with a fine steel nib.

Fountain pen of the day. This was my first Ranga pen, a great artisanal brand from India. This is the model 3C, a long pen with rounded edges. This is made in polished ebonite and has a Jowo fine nib. I highly recommend this brand, since they have literally hundreds of options to choose.

Fountain pen of the day: A curious retractable pen, the Platinum Curidas. It’s a demonstrator model in clear plastic. Although the design isn’t as good as the Pilot Vanishing Point or the different “homages” from Jinhao or Majohn, it’s more comfortable than the Lamy Dialog or Nahvalur Eclipse.

Fountain pen of the day: Another of my Kaweko Skyline Sport. According to their site the difference is the silver accents in the letters and nib and “modern colors”. Even if this particular color reminds me of classics like the Parker Duofold.

Vintage Fountain Pen of the day: This one required a little of detective work. The body has the legend “super (M) rocket pen. Made in Germany”, but I couldn’t find a brand or model. The nib has “ERO” engraved, a German brand from the 60’s. Good writer with a piston system, in cellulose.
