For those who do not know the details of my daughter Robyn's life and death, there were two stories in Bicycling about them. Everyday I think of Robyn.

Think for a moment where this country would be now, had Al Gore won the 2000 presidential election in. I can assure you the United States would not be decendening into dysfunction as it is now under Donald Trump!

This should not be happening in the United States! It is no longer the land of the free...

My minivan QR codes are ready to be applied.

I am going to be putting up the four ghost bike signs I made over the next two weeks. For the ones too far away, I'll ship them to people who can install them. While I was at it, I make larger QR codes to put on my road safety advocacy minivan. One lesson learned, you need to mask the QR codes.

Here in Central Virginia. I often see pickup trucks that would dwarf the SUV in this photo. Who would want a vehicle which requires a ladder to check the oil? Why are these things legal?

Bike lanes aren’t the cause of congestion anymore than tent encampments are the cause of homelessness. They are symptoms of larger issues, and removing them won’t solve those issues either.
