Seems likely that two people with their lawful open-carry guns saw another person with their lawful open-carry gun and needlessly escalated to the thing for which people guns thereby killing a bystander, after which the police arrested the non-aggressor. Perhaps open-carry is not such a good thing.

My dad (82) grew up in Texas, so once I asked him what he learned about Juneteenth as a kid. He said the only thing he knew about it back then was that it was the day Black people were allowed in the public parks. It’s not ancient history.
