Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Was it ever free? I remember my parents having to buy it when I was a kid, it was a few hundred bucks. Still much better than the subscription thing they have now, at least you used to own it once purchased

There is no such thing as "not voting" unless you are unable to. By not going to the ballot, these people are actually voting for whatever party that gets elected. They're saying that they agree to whatever. Those who did not vote are equally responsible.

I really don't understand these people because she looks totally fine, and the cinematic CDPR gave us looked so epic, I could only get excited about the game. We'll see how it goes, but this is one of the few games I'm hyped about. These people are just biggots and they should be ignored.

I'd go even further, no employer should be able to afford paying their rent if their employees can't

Pick the cat up, sit, then put the cat on your lap and pet the little guy. Will only work with chill cats though

The ones struggling the most are AAA studios. It's because they take their player base for granted, and keep producing "low risk" undercooked garbage and sells that at an all time high price. We've had enough. I'm not paying 100$ for a game anymore, no matter how good it is or who made it.

We won't convince anyone by bullying them, he's right on that. But I don't think MAGAs can be convinced at this point: every time I try to engage in a genuine conversation, they just keep saying insane bullshit that makes 0 sense. How can you convince someone who keeps dissmissing facts?

Honnestly, yeah. I can't go to cosco without getting a hot dog, 1.50$ for a foot long juicy beef hotdog with a drink is just too good of a deal to pass on

Would love to attend some day, but it unfortunately won't happen for the next 4 years for... reasons. I would love to see events such as these in our beautiful Canada

I even tried telling it that it was just wrong and pointed out the corrwct way of doing something, only for it to double down on it's bullshit method that doesn't work.

I guess the company running it is less morally bad, which is why I keep using it at the moment, but the search engine itself isn't much better unfortunately

So it's not vaccines? Who would've thought...

I'm trying out kagi, now on the free tier. So far, I only made a handfull of searches and the difference is showing. No more annoying ads unreleated to what I'm searching. No more amazon link linking to random stuff. I can block certain websites from showing up. I'm considering it

I was on the fence of buying that mouse, because on one hand after trying it it seems awesome. On the other, their mice rarely work for more than ~2 years and at that price I expect it to last a decade. That AI shit makes it lose a point again
comment in response to post
I would like to see that, but I would not discredit those who don't. We also have to consider that AI might also train on that on top of the actual content. But otherwise I don't see it as a bad idea and would be useful for other reason than just "checking if the artist is legit"
comment in response to post
Finding where to buy things is also a headache now. You search for something, first 20 results are amazon and maybe some other big name store front. Don't expect to see anything local. You have to know where to look for, which makes the whole google thing useless.

@gork is this true?

I don't even follow that shit anymore. Tarrifs or not, I ain't buying american until the orange stain leaves

The english exit exam has a much higher success rate. It's not because english speakers are smarter, it's because it's not as strict. So it's just a petty way of trying to prevent people who can't (or don't want to) learn perfect french from getting a degree. It's honnestly really fucking disgusting
comment in response to post
Example: the french exit exam in college is very hard. I decided to take the english one instead. Now, François Legault passed a law that prevents people from doing that. If you are not a native english speaker (immigrants included), you have to take the french exit exam.
comment in response to post
As a native french speaker, no, let's not do that. A lot of french speakers, at least here in Québec, are full of themselves and think they're better than everyone else for speaking it. It is not something I want to be associated with.

If he wants the big companies to pay and not the consumers, why not skip all that tariff thing and simply tax the billionaires? Just a thought...

"Educational Media Personality" actually sounds pretty good. Should avoid "Professional Content Creator" though for... reasons...

In my game prog class I had at the previous college I went to, my teacher would legit open a plagerism case if we used any font that wasn't free. It was brutal, but I get where he comes from: getting a plagerism case is far less of a headache than being sued by one of these greedy bastards.

I must say that I'm not a big fan of the guy. I can't really see how a bank governor would have the country's best interests at heart when the main issues our country is facing are insanely profitable for the banks. We'll see how it goes.

I watch youtubers with over a million subscribers who still film using their phones. Unless you're trying to do movies and it needs to have a certain quality to fit the style, I think a good phone camera is plenty good enough.

Damn that looks awesome. We don't have that here in Canada... My german teacher keeps talking about it as if it's the greatest thing ever. I really need to give it a try some day
comment in response to post
And then teachers have the audacity to tell me that I need to work less and focus more on my studies. They could slap me on the face and it would be less insulting. Where am I supposed to live then? What am I gonna eat? Fuck all that.

Here's the thing: I study computer science. I don't need to learn how to speak a third language or know what Socrate said tousands of years ago to do my job. I'm just so tired all the time. Waking up at 5am, getting to sleep at 3am, feeling like the day was still not long enough, barely scraping by.
comment in response to post
It's not that I need it, it's that I find the very concept of having to do that to earn my diploma pointless and stupid. So yes I will take every possible shortcut so that I don't waste my time any more than I need to
comment in response to post
So it's mostly all drawned by hand? No wonder it's so good. I'll definately have to give it a shot

I saw your posts a few times before and thought they were beautiful. I just gave you a follow. Can you tell us how you acheive that visual effect? Do you use a regular game engine (like godot, unity or unreal), or did you make your own? However it has been made, it's amazing. I'll give it a look

I got an s24 a few months ago because the phone I had was getting unusable. I can confidently say that I will fucking ditch samsung when I have to change. Everything I hated about the iphone is now here, and then some. I think I'll look at chinese stuff next, like 1+ or xiaomi

Happens sometimes with my Latitude. And when it doesn't, it gets super slow when I wake it up and I'm better off restarting it, so in the end I never bother and fully shut it down every time I'm not using it
