A decade later I still don't understand how the response to stuff like this isn't "What the hell is wrong with you?"

Breslow said this was not a sudden move. They felt this gave them a more cohesive roster and that the Giants deal made sense.

Kennedy goes back to the idea they couldn’t get to a “shared vision” with Devers.

Lester, Betts, Bogaerts, now Devers. WS winners who left on bad terms. Ortiz was the last graceful exit. Pedroia was injured, nobody’s fault there (other than Machado). That’s a real problem. The message to young players is don’t buy a house in Boston. Your turn is coming.

Nobody had a better Father’s Day than Gerrit Cole.

Two other thoughts: * Is there a window for Yoshida now? Kinda? Maybe? * Devers wasn't Brooks Robinson, but he could play semi-passable 3B. But once he became a full-time DH, that contract was a disaster. $31.8M a year for 8 years for a DH? Schwarber is a great DH and he makes $20M.

I didn't watch this with sound, but as a very very proud Marching Band alum... This is lazy slop. It's almost like they don't care.

As long as white men continue to hold the balance of power, we will live in a violent society with fewer and fewer rights. These men kill their own families. Stop voting for white men.

Camacho was better at parades too

Love it when a plan comes together

We should make June 14th No Kings Day permanently.

Deep cut

Who else nearly fell out of the seat when you heard Cosplay Kristi accuse Sen. Padilla of “political theater”?

If you can't yet see the 1933 Germany parallels, you either skipped out on history, or you're disturbingly comfortable repeating it.

Goldman: "These are people doing in the right way, who are nonviolent, noncriminal, and they're getting arrested. So what message does that send? Obviously it sends the message, 'Go further underground. Don't appear in court. Don't pay your taxes' ... that's just going to make the public less safe."

True story bro.

The Los Angeles Dodgers derive their name from how the residents of LA are able to weave and dodge their way around the "less-lethal" munitions fired by police.

It's such a shame that LA is such a sprawling area, hard for the pigs to cover 😈

The Gaza Aid Flotilla 12: Greta Thunberg; Sweden Rima Hassan; French-Palestinian EU Parliament member France: Baptiste Andre Pascal Maurieras Yanis Mhamdi Reva Viard Omar Faiad; Reporter Thiago Avila; Brazil Suayb Ordu; Turkey Sergio Toribio; Spain Marco van Rennes; Netherlands Yasemin Acar; Germany

It is very important to have facts and not spread misinformation, especially in times like these. Think and do some quick searches before you post anything.

The looting is unrelated to the ICE protests, looting occurred when some opportunists noticed that the pigs are busy elsewhere.

Context-- LAPD left a handful of cruisers unattended and some heroes slashed tires and smashed windows. The pigs had to "kick" the windshield out to drive it.

Just so facts are facts. You're going to hear the other side say that there was widespread looting. Only report I have seen was at about 10:30 PM local time, which is not part of the "protest" but part of the aftermath

I wish I was more tech-savvy because the @lookner.bsky.social stream just showed 5 cops beating up on their own car and it was an amazing sight to see.

It's disturbing that all of this administration's leaders think it is their department's job to terrorize brown people. It is not the FBI's job to care about what is happening currently in LA. The FBI should be taking in facts and processing them, not enacting "law and order"

my son waking me up for some Bluey
