Have multiple hobbies: Pick something you’re already good at but would like to be better, and something you’re terrible at but would like to be good at. You get very different feelings of fulfillment as you improve at each.

I 100% would have used ChatGPT for homework when I was in school, because homework sucked ass. However, if I hadn't been forced to bullshit a lot of essays 15 minutes before class I wouldn't have learned that I enjoy writing. The moral is to destroy both ChatGPT and homework.

Not sure why this is particularly surprising. During inflationary periods, consumer sentiment goes down because we are losing future buying power, and consumption goes up because we are pulling the trigger on durable goods that will be more expensive if we wait.
