Handle with Kid Gloves Handle with Kid Gloves Then you learn the weapons And the ways of hard knock school Put on your Kid Gloves Put on your Kid Gloves Then you learn the lesson That it’s tough to be so cool… Happy Geddy Friday #RushFamily ❤️‍🔥

Every day we’re standing in a time capsule Racing down a river from the past Every day we’re standing in a wind tunnel Facing down the future coming fast It’s just the age It’s just a stage We disengage We Turn The Page… Happy Wednesday #RushFamily 💛🔴

I've managed to listen to thirty-nine of the one hundred albums from #5albums70s3, and there are several more I would have liked to have gotten to, but the time has come to narrow the list to these nine contenders for my top five.

Free, Bob Dylan and the Band, and Jethro Tull represent the last three albums I played from #5albums70s3.

Three Marley albums for consideration in #5albums70s3. Live! is a favorite, and was the first Bob Marley album I owned, but Exodus is the contender for my top five.

From first to last The peak is never passed Something always fires the light That gets in your eyes One moment’s high And glory rolls on by Like a streak of lightning That flashes and fades in the summer sky… Happy Tuesday #RushFamily💓

#172 on #The500Blog is "Every Picture Tells A Story" by Rod Stewart. I talk childhood "frenemies" and seeing Sir Rod twice with my mom. the50-20.blogspot.com/2025/02/the-...

Time is a gypsy caravan Steals away in the night To leave you stranded in dreamland Distance is a long range filter Memory a flickering light Left behind in the heartland… Happy Lifeson Day #RushFamily 🎲💗

#5albums70s3 Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow

Two more Genesis albums for #5albums70s3. I find their albums, across all eras of the band, to be fascinating and great to listen to. For me, Foxtrot is the winner between these two, featuring the multi-part progressive epic "Supper's Ready."

#5albums70s3 Hey ho! Let's go!

#5albums70s3 Michael Jackson Off the Wall He had released four solo albums as a teenager, but here MJ broke out, working with Quincy Jones. Primarily a disco record, it produced four hits, which may have seemed huge at the time, but was just a glimmer of what would follow.

I have stoked the fire on the big steel wheels Steer the airship right across the stars I learned to fight, I learned to love, I learned to feel Oh I wish that I could live it all again… Happy Pratturday #RushFamily🏍️🥃

#5albums70s3 I really love these first two Bill Withers albums; Still Bill in particular has gotten a lot of play with me. I love the deep cuts on these albums, but the singles are some of the greatest songs of the decade.

#5albums70s3 George Harrison Living in the Material World This was a really wonderful sounding record from George. Great songs.

It is the fire that lights itself But it burns with a restless flame The arrow on a moving target The archer must be sure of his aim It Is the engine that drives Itself But It chooses the uphill climb… …Cut To The Chase… Happy Geddy Friday #RushFamily 💕🔩

#5albums70s3 Marvin Gaye What's Going On A masterpiece, as relevant today as it was during the Vietnam era, as it will continue to be for as long as people hear it while they feel like the world is falling to pieces.

I spun Queen I & II last week; here we have three additional Queen albums for #5albums70s3. Tough draw with five Queen albums in one group, but I'm wondering if we'll see a super-fan vote for all five.

When the ebbing tide retreats Along the rocky shoreline It leaves a trail of tidal pools In a short lived galaxy Each microcosmic planet A complete society… Happy Thursday #RushFamily🧡🔬🧪🔭

Should teachers insist on collaboration with students who despise it? I reflect on that question in context of Todd Rundgren's excellent 1972 record, "Something/Anything?" It is #173 on #The500Blog the50-20.blogspot.com/2025/02/the-... #EduSky #TeacherBlogger #Music #BloggersOfSky #Education

Two great Bowie albums from #5albums70s3. Ziggy gets my vote for favorite 70s Bowie album.

#5albums70s3 AC/DC High Voltage Big riffs, infectious grooves, bagpipes... what more could one ask for in a rock and roll record?

Hand Over Fist Paper around the stone Scissors cut the paper Cut the paper to the bone Hand Over Fist Paper around the stone Scissors cut the paper And the rock must stand alone… Happy Wednesday #RushFamily 🐰🎩💓

#5albums70s3 John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band Walls and Bridges

We've got these two hard rockin' live albums from #5albums70s3. Thin Lizzy is great. Deep Purple is freakin' phenomenal. When it comes to live rock and roll albums, Made in Japan is as good as it gets.

#5albums70s3 I love the Isley Brothers; saw them at Toronto Rocks in 2003. "That Lady" was the hit single from the album 3+3, which like so many 70s R&B songs, I first heard as a hip-hop sample, in this case on Paul's Boutique.

All this time I’ve been Workin’ Them Angels overtime Riding and driving and flying Just over the edge Workin’ Them Angels Workin’ Them Angels Workin’ Them Angels Overtime… Happy Tuesday #RushFamily 💓

Half The World lies Half The World learns Half The World flies As Half The World turns Half The World cries Half The World laughs Half The World tries To be the other half… Happy Monday #RushFamily 🎶📡🧡

#5albums70s3 The first record from Van Halen is as big as gets in the realm of hard rock and electric guitar virtuosity.

#5albums70s3 Eagles One of These Nights I enjoy spinning one of the Eagles' studio albums from time to time, but I will admit I usually stick to Their Greatest Hits and Greatest Hits Volume 2.

#5albums70s3 The Wild, the Innocent & the E Street Shuffle is one of many fantastic records from Springsteen. Born to Run... hands down, his greatest album, right?

Well, I can see what you mean It just takes me longer And I can feel what you feel It just makes you stronger You can take me for a little while You can take me, you can make me smile In The End Yes you can… ooh… Happy Fly By Night Pratturday #RushFamily 🦉💕

#5albums70s3 Hey, Blondie! Great debut album.

Another cloudy day Seems we’ll never see the sun Or feel the day has possibilities Frozen in the moment The lack of imagination Between How It Is and how it ought to be…☄️ Happy Thursday #RushFamily 🌤️🌈💛

#5albums70s3 The B-52s are incredibly weird, and I mean that in the best possible way. This debut album is rhythmic, funky, and freakin' awesome. Anytime I hear "Rock Lobster" I know it will be running through my head for at least the next three days.

#5albums70s3 Queen I & II These first two Queen albums aren't loaded with hits like their subsequent records would be, and a bit more progressive sounding, but they're amazing. Queen II might even be my favorite album of theirs.

#5albums70s3 Pink Floyd Meddle It's an amazing album, especially side two. "Echoes" is just a phenomenal track, from the opening ping to the last. I think the Pompeii version is probably one of my most viewed Youtube videos.

#5albums70s3 I had Goats Head Soup for lunch yesterday. Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo.

The world is, the world is Love and life are deep Maybe as his skies are wide Todsys Tom Sawyer he gets high on you And the space he Invades He gets by on you… Embrace the glory… Happy Moving Pictures Day #RushFamily ❤️‍🔥

Two more Black Sabbath albums for #5albums70s3. I voted for both Sabbath albums in #5albums70s1. I don't see that happening this time around, but I may get one in.
