You're probably right. Even if 75% is an exaggeration, Visconti is probably a little more accurate than the band.

Yeah, there was some debate on that subject. Some say it was just a few overdubs, while some say practically the whole album was from the studio.

Nebraska is actually my other favorite Springsteen album. Great storytelling and that simple, stark sound, the opposite of the epic wall of sound of Born to Run.

Both are definitely worthy. I'm not yet sure if I'll include Born to Run in my five, but it's right there.
