I also think a lot of wise people are deleting social media from their smartphones. Part of the new resistance is an attempt to turn off the free flow of our data to the technocrats.

I’ll never forget Jon Gruden’s interview with James Harrison several years ago. Harrison, one of the baddest dudes to ever do it, got choked up when asked what LeBeau meant to him. Even the toughest among us need leadership.

We all need to build and develop local support. No need to post about it on social media either. Build networks of resistance offline. This is the best antidote to the existential dread social media doles out to us without end. Connect with others and prepare for the worst together, face to face.
