Some applications have asked about being Working Class etc. away from the Monitoring Forms. I tend to write about such anyway. Am aware it's an incredibly competitive and oversaturated market. But outside of Film and TV, I've had direct remarks of disbelief, because of how I write and talk.

I often get the impression that those judging don't believe my Monitoring Form answers (some of which have been on applications) correlate with the work that I aspire to write and develop.

That opening scene 🀯 One of my favourite Horror films, and a classic!

That moment you hit Stumped, and it's not even 9:45! 😬

And the chapters are Gas Mark numbers and their Temperature equivalents.

My favourite remark about this article, is how it's made even funnier if read in Alan Partridge's voice.

Am so pleased & relieved for the pair of you. These Landlords often give the occupation a horrific name. I can relate to the mould trap, having previously resided in a Flat of such years ago. The weight that's lifted for the pair of you. Plenty of washing to do now though! 😳 But all for the best!

It's a difficult one. I was only diagnosed with Irlen's Syndrome last year, & it makes sense as to all of those times I've found light & visual processing exhausting. The tints I wear calms things down, but again, it's a tightrope walk when you're trying to appear objectively engaged in a passion.

I felt similar over a film festival panel interview that I did last year. My eyes are primarily closed throughout, due to the lights. Made it very difficult to capture a frame or clips from it! πŸ™ˆ

Here is one of my blog posts speaking highly of Metal, and what my current Residency with them current entails. The wheels wouldn't have been set in motion without them! 3/3 jc-filmmaker.wixsite.com/the-wettings...

Also here to chat. Fully aware of these frustrations that often lead to analysis paralysis.

πŸ˜‚ I still find it a learning curve now. That balance between engaging, authentic conversations, as well as dialogue that helps drive the story to the next scene. So each exchange gives further insight into the character and their motivations.

I enjoy writing weighty and vital dialogue. Sometimes conversational stuff, but a lot of it is lifted from public soundbites, so I find it easy to play around with.
