Can we please, please, please stop calling RFK Jr a “vaccine skeptic?” I’m a vaccine skeptic. I want evidence a particlar vaccine is effective, safe, and appropriate for the patient to whom I am seeing. There are lots of researchers looking at this. RFK Jr has been explicitly antivaccine for years.

If you're worried about vaccine availability moving forward talk to your pediatricians. While there is a routine schedule, there is flexibility. For example Gardasil is usually given at 11 but can be dosed as early as 9. MMR is given at 12 and 48 months but dose 2 can be given earlier.

One of my party facts is that according to polls, Americans believe foreign aid is about 25% of the federal budget and on average that it should be about 10%. The actual number is less than 1%. Foreign aid has long been a boogey man of the right, so it's not surprising they're vilifying it now.

RSV and Influenza are running rampant and they cause severe disease and even death in very small infants. I have seen Influenza cause myocarditis and heart failure in healthy teens. The flu vaccine reduces your chances of serious illness and death.
