Took me forever to get home from campus because I was gawping at Mars, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn, all fiercely bright and almost in a straight line. I highly recommend you go take a look.

Generally just trying to route all of my personal LLM usage to Venice.ai over the next couple of days to get a feel for what privacy feels like :/

A century ago, the public hydro dam in Austin, TX collapsed. The city turned down the offer of a private company to rebuild, knowing they would have a financial stranglehold on the city, and rebuilt it as public. Full story here: kutkutx.studio/the-disconne...

A thought that actually helped this when I was doomscrolling inside my mind on my bikeride this morning was: "OK, you've been sent back from the future to fix the timeline starting now. What do you do?"

Just spent the morning interviewing the founding research director of PBS. Amazing how closely connected public broadcasting was to early communication departments.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE demonstration of what this platform can do: subscribe to this labeler and see which fancy private school different UK public figures on here went to, and how much those schools cost. bsky.app/profile/dadd...

Muttering “this is not a worthy conflict” to myself and shuffling onward.
