Trying to keep the members happy! Conservative membership can be made up of overseas supporters, who can vote on the leader. Plenty of opportunities for foreign interference and information is closely guarded secret. Are they compromised?

It is the members who vote for the leader. There are few of them and it leaves opportunity for the membership to be compromised. How many indirect members does Putin have? The leaders play to this narrow window people. They all appear to be compromised.

The UK finds itself at risk. I guess the strategy in this situation is to put the head under the blanket and hope for the best!!

Where to even start with this! The price of the flight alone would cost more than the saving on tax!
As always, these folk are hypocrites and just spend there time sowing the seeds of division to keep their wealth. I’m sure she will be back, sadly.

Why are they so obsessed with cost cutting, unless of course it is to allow bigger tax breaks to the wealthy! How much is enough for these guys? So sad to see.

Because they will try and blackmail you. As is 3.6 billion in subsidies a year isn’t enough. Farmers always plead poverty.. It’s all part of the game.

And do not forget. In 2023, the UK government maintained its farm subsidy budget at approximately £2.4 billion per year, consistent with its pledge to match the funding levels of the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy during this parliamentary term. All farmers claim poverty…

Diddly Squat. Exactly how much inheritance tax he thought he would pay, when he brazenly suggested he bought the farm to avoid inheritance tax. Not sure of he is a help or hindrance to the cause.

Maybe of he hadn’t have drawn attention to the loophole exposed by the investors, it might not have been closed. The Farmers should be more annoyed with Clarkson and Dyson for exposing and capitalising on their way of life.

The lobby group, doing exactly what lobby groups do. Of course the money has to come from somewhere, but is’t that how the system works?!

For sure. It is clear that if you dance with the devil, you get burned. Like all those before him! And still, they line up…

This comment is really grate and quite ‘brie’-lievable. Sadly, I think this is exactly what a lot of disenfranchised people voted for!

I think it is ok to accept some people are considerate of others and others are considerate only for themselves. They also hate the world and even when they win, they remain angry. You cannot reason! I’m ok with it and this place gives me hope!

The more time I am on here, the more I like it. Refreshing, not chaotic and nice to see people respectful. It restores some faith in humanity. Feels so tranquil 😆💆🏼♂️

Haha. Yes, not sure having people who objectively bought land with the sole reason to evade tax are the right guys to have onside.

Thanks.. bit daunting, but then the engagement on the other was terrible and depressing! I guess it served its purpose for the owner! New beginnings..

How much is enough for these people? They become deluded by wealth and increasingly more selfish.

Jeremy Clarkson publicly stated that inheritance tax was a key factor in his decision to purchase Diddly Squat Farm. In an interview with The Times in 2021, he mentioned that avoiding inheritance tax was “the critical thing” in buying the farm.
