I'm pretty sure the Supreme Court will 'buy' the argument that the 14th Amendment to the Constitution was not meant to convey citizenship on US-born children of illegal emigrants. This interpretation can be made based on 'Originalism Theory' - a conservative method of constitutional interpretation.

I am starting to wonder how long it's going to be before ICE is met with armed resistance. This'll put the bit between our fearless leader's teeth, spawning declarations of emergency, perhaps the addition of military forces to the ICE teams, and more loathsome tactics in rounding up the illegals.

Only the uninformed believe that the rule of law is not dead. It was a slow process. First to go was 'justice delayed is no justice at all'. Then we let guilty plaintiffs appeal as long as their wallets could bare. Then we appointed justices based on their political beliefs. Now, outright defiance.

CREDIT CARD THEFT: had our # stolen after a transaction at Lowes (self-check out). Bought an exhaust fan. Next day someone tried to buy another exhaust fan ($100) using our #. Day after that was a donation to some nebulous charity ($10). Issuer caught both, probably because they didn't have the cvv.

I know it's too late but it's our fault for allowing the 1% to gather so much wealth increasing inequality to unheard of levels. These people naturally assume now that they are smarter than the rest of us and have an ordained right to rule. Don't know when, or even if, the situation can be reversed.

Crypto is not all that hard to understand. It's like gold, but has even less intrinsic value. It's almost totally dependent on 'greater-fools'. At the moment it has momentum. Lots of money can be made when momentum is sustained, ie lots more greater-fools. But don't get caught when the music stops.

A large part of the democratic party still hasn't figured out that there are limits to DEI, socialism and most importantly immigration. I am not saying that these things aren't important; what I am saying is that Rome wasn't built in a day and this non-recognition is what got us to where we are now!
