You can genuinely make a solid argument claiming the that Democratic Party leadership are controlled opposition at this point. The party has never looked so pathetic and weak.
Don’t get me wrong, there’s some amazing people within the party but they drowning in a pool of mediocrity

I think it’s wild to say the song “reinvented” Kendrick. He has always been who he is with a massive fan base of supporters. He’s one of the most successful rappers ever in the music industry.
People act like calling out Drake is the only reason for his success and that’s just an insane take.

I see what you’re saying and I’m a strong supporter of unions and labor reforms to strengthen the rights workers.
However, I think it’s insane to advocate for anything other than a total reform of our healthcare. Universal healthcare should be a right, regardless of union membership or employment.

Please don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t consider myself a fan of the party and have no intentions of defending them.
I was just pointing out how there’s quite literally nothing they can do legislatively at this point due to their failures. They’re practically controlled opposition at this point

Unfortunately there really isn’t much they can do at this point.
I do agree though, the party’s inability to take a firm stance and call things what are is really disappointing

Let’s not forget the agriculture sector that also relies on exploitation of migrant labor.
We’ve actually seen this happen in Alabama around 2011. Agriculture and construction took a massive hit due to immigration laws the state passed that forced people to leave the state out of fear.

The rhetoric around this is crazy. It’s completely open source and can be used locally. You can have full control of the code and model restrictions.
It’s a blow to US companies demanding billions in funding and it shows how inflated the current AI market is. This is ultimately a good thing.

It feels like that’s the point. The man says so many insane and outlandish things that his supporters believe and others laugh at.
It puts him in the position to say anything without losing support and he then has free rein to suddenly pursue one of those crazy ideas and shock everyone else.

High density housing can be beautiful, affordable, and beneficial to the economy in so many ways.
Combine this with rent hike limitations and you’re already significantly closer to a decent quality of life for many people.
Of course no one would support such radical ideas though 🙃

It almost feels like the whole point of this is to find a way out of NATO. I legitimately can’t think of another reason he would pursue this so heavily.
Does he intend to trigger article 5? Does he just want a collective decision to kick the US out?
It’s beyond a bizarre fixation at this point.
