At the end of a semester the fraternity had to return a piece of memorabilia that I stole from the sister sorority. I never stole it, just slid it behind a display case. It was 4' tall and 3' wide and was displayed next to the display case. No one ever thought to look behind there.

I would love a publicly funded journalistic outfit, like @NPR, to stop whitewashing the news and start presenting the truth.

How does this work? What if you normalize to Brad @5' 9" and then 45 mins after the party starts Kyle, who didn't RSVP and stands 6' 2", arrives?

You shouldn't have to retain a lawyer. The state and county BAR associations will have mechanisms for you to file a complaint. The BAR association may approach the problematic firm and may negotiate a full or partial refund.
comment in response to

Not only would I do that, I would also visit the sites for the BAR associations for your state and your county. You should be able to lodge a complaint against the firm that has done you dirty.

V struggled with the change to somewhat mouse based interface. It was early days, and some choices made for UX do not stand the test of time.
IV is a must play, IMHO. As the beginning of the Age of Enlightenment trilogy it did things with RPG character development that were unheard of at the time.

Midwinter on an Commodore 8 bit would be an epic feat. It barely ran on 16 bit machines at 7x the clock speed of a C64.

You're getting the wrong take away, I'm afraid. Our military is top notch. This was malicious compliance on a grand scale.
comment in response to
post
I'm assuming that is malicious compliance. If the Commander in Chief forgot to dictate that the soldiers must march, they do not have to march. Someone in the chain of command saw this parade as the performative bullshit it was and was smart enough to read the fine print.

"I am a recent college graduate, dammit. I was trained by underpaid adjunct professors in how to do exactly three things in Maya and Houdini. I KNOW THINGS! Unreal is clearly broken because my scantily armor clad large chested female barbarian is upside down and backwards. FIX THIS!"

It's very weird for me to hear that, as Purdue, at least in late 80s/early 90s was not that, at all.
What the IN governor has orchestrated at IU is genuinely concerning.

I keep waiting for the IN gov to make similar moves on Purdue. I cannot understand why I haven't start d seeing news about that.

Yes. Yes they did.

Dear Horald,
Please do pursue your interests. If whatever others pursue for their interests bothers you, that's on you, not them.

No, you offered the same nosy Karen-esque critique on how others live their lives that both the person I replied to and the person who wrote in to NPR exhibit.
I appreciate the quick excuse making that covers both the run-on sentence and your failure to use punctuation.

Please cite a study, any study, that shows property values are negatively affected by out of season holiday lighting.
"Christmas lights are for Christmas" is such a myopic viewpoint. Does that mean my previous neighbors, who lit their house for Diwali every year, were mis-using "Christmas" lights?

Embracer, Plaion, or whatever new name they have this week, isn't in a position to let one of their top grossing IPs go fallow. They will milk it for all that it is worth and then close Gearbox when the games' revenues do not keep up with the continually over-inflated sales projections.
