I would like to see this replicated because are a few caveats. It’s small n, one session was only 14.

I was on a desktop project that used UWP. We figured that it would simplify the way if we ever wanted to introduce a mobile version.
The problem was that it would kill the app if it sat idle. Maybe this is normal for mobile apps, but not what most desktop apps expect from their platform.
