It was an accident🤪

I put the OST on my wife's phone, and she brainwashed all our kids over the years. Now whenever I play the actual game, everyone in the house vibes with me🤡

Money is my least worry. Don't sweat it🤪

I wouldn't put my name on it if I don't...🤡

GT4 taught me that lesson very hard.
I ended up buying the GTForce Pro🤪

I didn’t say magnets are required🤔

Dropping a pair of 0.3*0.1 inch magnets inside will make this thing snap onto the Switch 2 very nicely😌

Reminds me of the old days when you jailbreak the iPhone just to customize the operator logo with emojis🤡

Old PCs are so much fun...🫠

Maybe they are also busy making the next Animal Crossing - if you know how ridiculously detailed New Horizons was...🥺

We failed Vista with our unwillingness of upgrading our hardware accordingly. We failed Vista🥲🤡🤣

I was so heartbroken by the failure of Vista and ended up skipping the entire generation of 7...

Bad caps inside that CDROM trying to short itself?
comment in response to
post
Affected cap(s) will be different since the boards are actually quite different (even among the PS1 models themselves).

Yep. But if the laser was really burnt out, you will have to swap it regardless (also easy).
comment in response to
post
Not really, but many PSones have very weak laser thanks to some aging caps.
comment in response to
post
None. But you can use the memory card exploit to play CD-Rs on it🫠

I hear the old power supplies are fine. But the newer ones have absolutely trash 5V rail cuz everything relies on 12V and 3.3V nowadays.

It takes RGB for colors and Y(Luma) for sync. It offers the best possible image you can get out of the PSone. The output on the back of the screen is buffered so capture quality will be good. The screen itself also has very low latency.

Still waiting for my Joy Con 2 to arrive!😂
comment in response to

At least we now know its birth place:

Maybe just some adjustments on the firmware. The Joycon 1 demands very precise timing of keep-alive packets or it will simply drop out on its own.

I have a feeling the new Joy Cons are gonna be actual USB devices this time😂
comment in response to
post
Welp. I remember the Switch 1 also had this issue on launch. Even a magazine can block the signal too much and make them drop. Early adopters' pain, I guess...

Tried contact clearner?

I need to see if there's another separate device popping up somewhere else...🤡

Oh it's the Joy Con 2 charging grip. The first gen charging grip is a USB composite device. So there's a little bit of difference here.

I remember thinking it was just Fallout 4 in MMO, which I do NOT need or care about.

Yeah it's just one poor AA sized cell after all, I wouldn't expect too much from it.

One of the batteries measure 1.1V, and the other measures 0. So I guess one quit a before the other but 1.1V is as low as they can go down.🤔
