I am worried. I am sad. I am angry. But I am NOWHERE NEAR giving up or giving in. I'd love to see my party united behind a plan to fix this mess and create a more just, efficient and compassionate nation. Until then, I'm just going to be recklessly, quietly and consistently kind.

It is amazing how many people WANT to see California burn to the ground. We get it, you're jealous. Nothing exciting ever happens where you live. Sorry. Ponder this: we have earthquakes, fires, the occasional riot - and people STILL line up to move to California.

Growing up in the 80s was hard, but it was nothing like this. How can we help the kids who are graduating now, this June? 'go work at Walmart + have a bunch of roommates + smoke weed' isn't what I wanted then and it's not what our kids should be forced into.

I am starting a free self-defense class in my town, mainly for women and LGBTQ folks (although I'm not going to turn anyone away if they feel anxious about the recent..stuff and are sincere). I'm not here to discuss methods, but I want to ask: what kind of physical attack/threat do you worry about?
