I lived in Long Beach 2 years ago when I was working at Riot, and I really wanted to use the line with my bike to commute to Santa Monica but it was at least 2 hours each way still at the time. Way too slow to be usable.

i think - it's actually just the meta-conversation *around* lots of science fiction that I'm tired of. I still love the stories but I'm exhausted of the Takes. So partially from that exhaustion I just don't feel the excitement about it that I used to

I haven't watched the show - I have a hard time keeping up with how much stuff there is to watch these days (and until recently, didn't have a device to watch Apple TV on)
Asimov stuff for me is funny because I devoured it all very early but now don't super feel drawn to it? Idk, complicated
