the mayor and the council are so out of step with the public - and it's because of their tech overlord funders, and because of off-year elections. imagine how much better the city would be with leaders who actually cared to improve it.

lol get wrecked bruce & co.

I mean, I guess they can have this one. But is it really our cityā€™s top legislative priority?

the only people who benefit from this are child predators and i'd like dem officials to say so into a microphone

I wish Seattle residents cared as much about people as they do about trees.

I love the implication that they simply couldnā€™t find anything ā€œmore left-leaningā€ to include here that Nelson has done.

I honestly think that once the 2 Line is complete, Downtown Redmond may become my favorite station in the system. I work along the 2 Line, and being able to pop up to DTR for lunch or to shop after work will be wonderful.

ā€œitā€™s probably a black personā€™s fault this bad thing happenedā€ as a reflexive explanation is just a racist statement, thereā€™s not a level of substantiation that makes it not racist bsky.app/profile/pgou...

Just so weā€™re clear, blaming the tragic accident last night on ā€œDEIā€ is a dog whistle. Itā€™s blatant racism and sexism.

Was looking at satellite view and surprised to see that Judkins Park station has a grade crossing for pedestrians coming from Rainier Ave S. I figured an escalator/stair would pop up in the middle of the island platform from below, but I guess not.

Got a new TV recently. It will never be connected to the internet as long as I own it.

I know what's happening at the federal level is bad. But I'm going to tune most of it out for a while. I'm wholly focused on improving lives by way of state and local politics. We're on our own for quite some time now.
