Nathan Gill, 51, ex UKIP, ex Brexit Party, and the former leader of Reform UK in Wales, has been charged with nine bribery offences after an investigation led by the Metropolitan police’s counter-terrorism command. It gets better apple.news/AZFUaz-S1REu...

Just a random reminder that trickle-down economics was invented by conservatives in the 1980s to justify massive tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations. It’s been nothing short of a disaster.

Despite claiming to love his country, Nigel Farage’s silence on Trump, Putin and Ukraine shows where his loyalties really lie www.adambienkov.co.uk/p/agent-farage

To the right-wing pundits crowing over Vance's speech: if you are really "less worried" about a dictator-state that's invaded its neighbour, killed tens of thousands of people, reduced cities to rubble & engaged in mass rape and child abduction, than you are about "wokery", then you are truly lost.

BBC obsesses on Rachel Reeves but not Reforms James McMurdock whose CV doesn’t add up👇🏼 He says he worked at at Lehmans (it had gone bust when he claimed to be there) He claims he dealt with Corporate Loans -they require FCA Reg but I couldn’t find him.. His bizs went bust @adambienkov.bsky.social

As a simple matter of English law, travelling without a ticket is not theft, underlined or otherwise. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t think providers of public services should be lying about the law to scare service users.

Magnificent by Jeremy Clarkson on how people who voted for Brexit and still think it was a good idea make his hair catch fire and teeth itch. www.thetimes.com/article/5356...

Reform are panicking about people pointing out that they want to replace the NHS. So please don't share this clip of Nigel Farage saying he'd rather healthcare was done through insurance companies.

Part of Laurence Fox's racist rant to Sangita Myska which he has since deleted, and which has been sent to the Police. Don't RT his shame. Or do.

Elon Musk just gave a Nazi salute on live TV!!!

It's been quite something to watch supposedly 'patriotic' British newspapers actively cheerleading on a foreign administration that is openly working against our interests.

'Creative use of punishment' Bar Council calls for pandemic restrictions to help reintegrate non-violent offenders into society and ease pressure on overcrowded jails in response to #SentencingReview www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025... @lizziedearden.bsky.social on @theguardian.com

EU asks X for internal documents about algorithms as it steps up investigation Musk’s company has been accused of manipulating systems to give far-right posts and politicians greater visibility www.theguardian.com/technology/2...

At its very core, democracy requires a basis of truth and facts, it’s a basic tenet. If people can’t make informed decisions, trust and democracy dies. The right relies disproportionately on misinformation, it’s not a trend that exists on all sides of the political spectrum. They win via deception.

The Deform Dilemma

“Some 56% of farmland bought in 2023 was sold to landowners who were not working farmers. The revenue per acre is too low to warrant the purchase, unless you are extremely wealthy and are avoiding inheritance tax”

Probation: 'Too few staff, with too little experience, managing too many offenders' www.bbc.com/news/article...

I mean, that's outstanding.

You've got to admire how Liz Truss' strategy to stop people from talking about how she crashed the economy has involved purposefully generating an entirely new news cycle about how she crashed the economy

I'm hearing from counsel that Nottingham Crown Court has just closed for the day due to 'health and safety reasons'. If you do not invest in the courts' infrastructure for decades, what do you expect?

The Conservative party accuses Keir Starmer of refusing to take child abuse seriously. In other news, here's former Conservative Prime Minister Boris Johnson complaining about £60 million being "spaffed up the wall" investigating historic child abuse cases

I doubt any Troll here who’s trying to smear ⁦Keir Starmer about decade-old events will be interested to read these pages from my book about his record prosecuting rape gangs. But he’s done more to bring them to justice than Farage, Yaxley-Lennon - or Musk -will ever do.

Amazing how many Brexiters who wanted to take back control from unelected bureaucrats and foreign billionaires - are suddenly totally in thrall to an unelected billionaire, huh

Based on my Sunday reading so far the big question of 2025 shouldn't be Trump, but why there is so much dissatisfaction around the world when more people than ever (including the dissatisfied) have more than ever. So many possible answers, yet so little curiosity about the question.

Azerbaijani government sources have confirmed that a Russian surface-to-air missile caused the Azerbaijan Airlines plane crash in Aktau yesterday (EuroNews).
