This is humorous until you realize he thinks "billions" will move the needle towards balanced while submitting a budget with a 2.5 trillion dollar shortfall.

Over the years, I've owned Canadian companies, but they were always listed on a New York exchange. Their daily volume was comparable to that of American companies. But small country exchanges feel eerily barren. "Is this thing on?"

I sold a lot of trade-vulnerable positions before the Inauguration. Unlike Wall Street, I believed that asshole when he said he'd launch a trade war. I got lucky with my timing. I opened new positions in EMR, PG, CLX the morning the Taco blinked. I also added to my AFL and GD positions.

Trump did make American blue chips more affordable, and I'll continue holding them long after they pull his fat, orange ass out of the White House.

The US economy is 12.5 times larger than Canada's. Its market capitalization is 14 times larger. Its bond market is 11 times larger and far more liquid. Its daily trading volume is 80% higher. Most Canadian listings are small caps. You're free to trade where you like, but I'll stick with the US.

And what is AI? Is it just LLMs? What about decision trees? Or Monte Carlo simulations? We have morons passing laws they didn't read, about things they don't understand, with terms they poorly define.

Americans chose between national parks and trans girls playing sports. The parks lost.

He didn't engage anyone. He didn't say anything. That guy just fed his money into the machine. Then he left. And as he walked out into the night, I watched him through the window. He smashed something on the sidewalk. That guy dropped his last few bucks on the dumbest thing possible.

"Kids, and their dad," is a funny way of saying "family."

Do you want to improve life for ordinary Americans? Make elections more competitive. If Representatives don't have to fight for your vote, they won't fight for you. They'll pad their own pockets, and they certainly won't implement this list.
