I'll be 70 this year. That's a tough schedule when not feeling well. :(

I am also on day 5. I don't know how my 4 year old grandson can have a cold with his nose running constantly and still go like he does? It has just wiped me out. However yesterday was the turning point.

Our conversation made me think about Fahrenheit 451. We are the people living by the river. :)

People need to be aware of this before being allowed to vote. When people are uneducated; dictatorship is the inevitable outcome.

I think you and I have a lot in common. Your ambient nature way is wonderful. I've always enjoyed those blips of reality --- I don't know. I feel like I'm rambling and becoming a bit preachy. I hope that you understand what I'm trying to convey. Your anger breaks my heart. But I understand it. 🤍

It's been this way as long as I've been alive. I don't see that it will ever change. I have some really good friends and family in the US that are terrified. There's nothing I can do to help them. They don't realize what it's like to live in a world without fear and anger. (to be continued)

Sorry, I know that question was a bit provocative. I was born and raised in the US. When I was 47, I got a web development job in Belgium and lived in Antwerp. Now, I've lived in Canada for the last 20 years. The people in US live in a constant state of fear and anger. (to be continued)

Okay... so I wouldn't want to create a market for Trump rubber stamps. :l This would work just as well. A million of these might get the point across. :)

I'm sure that anything looking like a postcard was thrown away. A sealed envelope with a dollar bill having Washington's face defaced using a rubber stamp of Trump's face might have gotten further. ;)

At yes a Veena indeed. I'd forgotten about the Veena. Ringing in sympathy, I hadn't thought about that. I was thinking open tuning and then strummed to create a drone.

Okay. Usually when hearing about hippies it's the west coast. I left Seattle in 1986 to live in the San Juan Islands, WA with my daughter (single parent). In the 70s and most of the 80s they were occupied by hippie squatters. Self-sufficiency and enjoying life was key. I loved it for 20 years.

Drove from Phoenix to Sedona once. Loved looking at the geography. However, everything else in the desert seemed designed to inflict pain.

I didn't know a guitar like this was ever made? Does it give it sitar qualities. What is the purpose? Inquiring minds want to know... ;)

A polite clap can be very difficult to play to. :l However, I remember listening to a three piece jazz trio (sax, upright and drums) in a tiny basement room of a very old multistoried building. Only about a dozen people and it was packed. 6 tables 2 chairs per table. I loved every minute of it. :)

Indeed. How can it be so serene? I suppose if you come from Titan it's insanely hot, no?

Light and distance. Neither of which I believe can truly be comprehended. I remember lying on top of my car in the desert of central Washington and seeing the stars as 3 dimensional. The arms of the Milky Way. It was 50 years ago and I remember it like it was yesterday. :)

Okay... I wasn't sure when you left and was wondering if Flagstaff was your first stop from home.
