This is ethnic cleansing. 40,000 Palestinians have been "evacuated" from Jenin, Tul Karm and Nur al-Shams, and will not be allowed to return. And this is in the West Bank, not Gaza, so there is not even a facial defense that this is about the war against Hamas.

People highlighting all the critical positions being cut are, of course, correct but I think it's missing the larger issue. The idea that there is a large part of the federal workforce doing nothing and getting paid well to do so is a lie. It has always been a lie.

Stop advocating for trans people by referring to us as canaries in the coal mine. The whole point of the canary is that it's an acceptable sacrifice to protect the people who actually matter. We are not a *warning sign*. We are real people. Our lives and rights matter in and of themselves.

We only know this man is in Gitmo because Noem tweeted a propaganda photo that included him and his sister saw it. He has no criminal record. He entered the US in January and immediately made an appointment with CBP to claim asylum. They sent him to a concentration camp bc of his basketball tattoo.

My great uncle in Ypsilanti used to tell us stories about how when workers would get restless with contract negotiations at the auto plant, management would start spreading false rumors among white workers that union negotiators were demanding special pay and work conditions for black workers.
