I've had raised eyebrows and puzzlement as a response to my enthusiasm for kpop, but I've never had a conversation about kpop of sufficient depth or engagement to count as an argument.

Yes, I watched the video you linked and some others. I've also visited some of the trading sites.
It's a world that's mostly alien to me and, I have to say, that also disturbs me in some ways. What I've tried to bear in mind is that some people will have similar reactions to kpop.
