This one hurts a lot. Going to drown my sorrows in zero sugar Gray's Peak. Wishing Jay and everyone else who worked and contributed all the best, it fefinitely hurts them much much more than me. GO PLAY HYPNOSPACE OUTLAW

Having finished Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, I think I can safely say it's probably going to be my GOTY. (I also generally don't play new games) I have some minor QoL gripes and pacing issues in the lategame, but it's been a looooong time since a story/setting occupied my brainspace so much.

I think what Astro Bot and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 show us is that there need to be more French-directed games that borrow Mario mechanics.

Red Faction Gorilla

Current game activity: -Xenoblade Chronicles X (Stuck on a different planet doing sidequests) -Yakuza Kiwami (Pocket Circuit addiction send help) -Path of Exile 2 (More content soon to throw time into) -Hades 2 (Lunch break time killer (literally))

I ended up getting back to Tactical Breach Wizards and finishing it up and all achievements! That one final level achievement was a bit annoying! Game's still a 10/10 for me though, I need more. And just more wizard content in general. Amazing job @pentadact.com and team!

Every game is objectively better with boats. Honestly I'm happy for finally some good Bannerlord content, been aching to get back into it

We're running a Patreon campaign to help fund Dreamsettler, the sequel to Hypnospace Outlaw. Patrons can play a WIP build of one of Dreamsettler's minigames now, and in two weeks we're releasing Dreamsettler's Page Genie. I look forward to making silly pages together. 🌎patreon.com/Tendershoot

This was a while back, but it wasn't until I was watching someone else play through Case of the Golden Idol much later, that I realized that the Cubert crest reminds me of something... I wonder if the team has any specific chocolate preferences? @andrejsklavins.bsky.social

Been playing through the Yakuza LaDs starting with 0. I don't like how they put fighting into my karaoke and bowlin simulator, but I did appreciate being quizzed on taxes.

When you think about it, it's pretty "fun" how multiple artistic mediums can be boiled down to "People do something fun or try to show off something innovative, then man with big money bag shows up, acts like he knows better, and everything gets worse in the process"

With the advent of it not mattering whether a game is successful or not to get fired, it really feels like game developers need to fully go over to the "Have an unrelated full-time job and like make a tiny fun game once in a while in your free time" method of gamedev.
