I'd never leave a message if the greeting said they didn't check. And yeah, I try to get off the phone if I can tell they are driving. But sometimes it cuts the background noise and it isn't until they've ambled on several minutes before they say "I'm actually driving and can't really talk."

Also, she has my home phone number and my cell phone number so she could have just phoned me from work to ask and gotten the answer right away.

It is not a reality tv show set in modern Britain, which is what I thought it was when I originally heard of it. (I have no idea why I thought this.)

I’m quite excited that the sock knitting is going so well this time around. There are so many cute sock patterns that I’d love to be able to make. There would definitely be some Klingon socks in my future! (Star Trek Socks pattern by Laura Hohman on Ravelry).

We can be strong and proud without having to hold ourselves above others. Our strength doesn’t have to come at the cost of another’s weakness. We can understand that each country standing strongly and working together will help us go further than turning inward and trying to beat everyone else.
