A fab visit to the Dulwich Picture Gallery to see the Tirzah Garwood show. So much to delight, intrigue and inspire. Loved it all. #printmaking #dulwichpicturegallery #tirzahgarwood

Birmingham Central Library for World Book Day. This gorgeous inverted ziggurat brutalist piece of architecture was demolished in 2016. But the people of Birmingham can still read books as they have a new library. Thank goodness. What would life be without books! #worldbookday #linocut #printmaking

Odd numbers, repetition, London buses, St Paul’s, mudlarkers. All things I like and going on here. The Thames from Gabriel’s Wharf is a linocut print in the Finding Patterns show at Greenwich Printmakers finishing next Sunday. #linocut #printmaking

Primrose Hill. Just the name conjures images of spring time. And now it really is. Great place for walks and fabulous views over London. #linocut #printmaking

At Greenwich Printmakers gallery in Greenwich Market, packaging cards ready for sale. #printmaking #greenwichprintmakers

Camden Roundhouse with You, an Anthony Gormley iron man sculpture. I loved the inclusion of this. #linocut #printmaking

Francis Iles Gallery are putting on a solo show upstairs at Store 104 on Rochester High Street, featuring my train poster linocuts for Kent railway stations on the Darent Valley line. PV 3-6 on Saturday 1st March. It runs for 1 month. All welcome.

The Barbican Estate, one of those love it or hate marmite things. If I was to live in a flat in London I’d want to choose here. #barbicanestate #linocut #printmaking

Throw back time. Me, 24 years ago I think, mid task in the etching room, helped to edition some prints. Nowadays I’m happiest with lino. #printmaking

Shard View with Southwark Bridge. I can’t cross a river without stopping to take in the view. It brings a sense of inner calm and balance. This is a linocut print from a few years ago. #shardview #linocut #printmaking

Battersea Power Station looking resplendent in a lovely olive shade. This was before all the new developments so it was still derelict. And it was never really this colour. #linocut #printmaking

Kingston Bridge with birds and boats, rippling water and shadows, trees and street lamps. The sunset was gorgeous today though with a much more subtle palette. #linocut #printmaking

Happy Valentine’s Day. If that’s your thing. London Eye on pink because this feels the colours of love. #linocut #printmaking

A throw back to when I first started selling my work in some sort of ernest. If more than two prints were identical it was an edition. Just four in this one. Nowadays I occasionally do as few as ten, usually upwards of 25. #printmaking

Borough Market linocut print. My show at Greenwich Printmakers is on for a few more days till Sun 16th. It’d be fab if a few more sold then I don’t have so many to take away. #greenwichprintmakers #printmaking #linocut

Selfie with my work at Greenwich Printmakers gallery yesterday. Just what you need. #greenwichprintmakers #linocut #printmaking

Covent Garden Station. People’s going shopping, meeting up, wandering around, or disappearing back into the underground. All with a summery vibe. #linocut #printmaking #coventgarden

This was when I signed off the finished The Thames at Westminster Bridge Twenty five in the edition. I forget how to write by the end. #linocut #printmaking #london

This cause is close to my heart - please sign: you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/st...

Greenwich Power Station. When I worked n my original Greenwich series I didn’t want the colours to match but rather a common link which was the orange. The shades did vary a little though. #linocut #printmaking #printmaker #greenwich

The Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, linocut print. It’s in my show at Greenwich Printmakers, a lovely gallery in Greenwich Market. Show on till 16th February. #royalnavalcollege #linocut

It’s nearly over now. The Fresh Art Fair at Ally Pally. My work on stand D9 with the No Naked Walls gallery. #freshartfair

The Oxo Building linocut print. I found still have a couple so popped one into my featured artist show at Greenwich Printmakers. It looks good. #oxobuilding

'Night Walk, Blackheath III' (2020) by Lucy Ward lucywardprints.com

From 18 months ago. The finished print of St Paul’s and Watling Street and the inked block for that final layer. This linocut print is in my display at Greenwich Printmakers and at Fresh Art Fair on stand D9.

Fresh Art Fair at Ally Pally opens tomorrow evening. No Naked Walls on stand D9 is showing my work. Fair is open till Sunday the 2nd. Message me if you fancy tickets. I have a few freebies. #freshartfair #allypally

I’m the featured artist at Greenwich Printmakers until 16 Feb and have been over to hang a display of my London linocut prints. Here is the best shot I could give it.

It’s Blue Monday. I obviously didn’t get the email as I’m feeling quite chipper. Almost for a change for this time of year. This one is a small linocut print of St Paul’s. I called the blue “teal” in the title. #bluemonday #stpaulscathedral.

No Jubilee line this weekend so I missed my jaunt up the Canary Wharf escalators to get to the DLR. Next trip hopefully. #canarywharf #linocut

The Library of Birmingham, the largest public library in the UK. I love the circle design on the outside but the set me quite a challenge to cut in my linocut print. #birminghamlibrary #linocut

I love a Battersea. This one is a linocut in a colour way I called brick. I made a marine version too. #batterseapowerstation #linocut

Pantone colour for 2025 is mocha mousse for its warmth and richness. My browns of choice are hotter and brighter in the umber and sienna palette. Big Ben is a linocut print worked by the reduction method. #pantonecolour #bigben

I’m at Greenwich Printmakers gallery today. Feeling reckless I took this selfie. I’ll still be here till 5.30. #greenwichprintmakers

I’m slipping slowly into the new year reluctant to leave the hideaway coziness and relaxation of Christmas behind. But hoping the path in 2025 leads to something interesting. Richmond Hill:The View a linocut print from the archive. #richmondhill #linocut

Best wishes to all from me for a peaceful, happy and healthy 2025. The Thames at Westminster Bridge linocut print. #westminsterbridge #linocut
