They had a little hot mic moment at the end, and the moderator said that she had tried to hold off the elephant in the room questions as long as possible (!) Our watch party was FASCINATED but sadly then the audio cut off.

Yeah, I was a little depressed that one of the sessions yesterday I was planning on attending got swapped for another. There has definitely been a lot of tension, given, y’know, the horrors. A session yesterday was moving as if everything was normal, and chat was full of people asking about politics

We should make everyone running for public office ask who their preferred member was of nkotb, new edition, bsb, nsync, one direction and bts.

Boston is a lot of things many of you not from here don't like, but one of those things is not being scared of a thumb-looking fascist's speech at DorkPac.

Bestie’s dad died, his obit included this: BPO2ATW. I asked about it, was it a rank or award or something from when he was in the merchant marines?
No, it meant Best Pal Oppo 2 Andy Tunbridge Wells (his brother in law and best friend).

If you are at an event where someone on stage gives a Hitler salute and that person is not dragged off by security and kicked out, you are at a Nazi rally.

Better healthcare, better drugs, better consumer tech.
I cite @mazzucatom.bsky.social’s research: Pretty much every major technological transformation in the US, from electric cars to Google to the iPhone, can trace its roots back to basic science research once funded by the federal government. 4/

Yeah, what the heck was that? It seemed like they published a press release verbatim.

Is it complicated, though? It’s not rule of law. It’s full of hot air designed to scare people, and will be tied up in litigation / struck down in court. It’s trying to make people comply in advance.
