"Trump floated the idea of the U.S. taking ownership of the Gaza Strip and redeveloping the territory." Excuse me, what? A lot of what's happening in the US is hard to wrap my head around but the cancellation/closure of USAID hits the closest to home. I work in the development sector. We are (largely) funded by the equivalent body here in Canada. Many that I know have been drastically affected by the changes already.
