imagining a bit where three people who have only respectively seen the office, severance, and succession go to work for the first time and do the whole “getting a lot of [preferred show] vibes from this work thing.”
Don't feel bad, I once drove 100 miles in the wrong direction to the wrong town instead of the right town because they both started with the letter "K".
lmao watching the show i can’t not think of it in the mystery thriller sort of genre. but if i try to separate from my bias, yeah i can totally see a show like succession being named severance
“(Fancy S-word)” on (prestige streaming service) is about the existential dilemmas of (privileged class) as they go about their lives trying to rebel against their god-like (superior class of person) and eviscerate their peers aka competition.
I know they aren’t, but I’m also ashamed that I struggled to get into Severance because I was looking at my phone. Deleting socials is going to help my TV and movie game
me and the wife both struggle with words sometimes and we both independently made this mistake last night despite watching both shows together at different times
they absolutely should do a crossover though because I have no idea which is which and they could use the crossover special to educate us in an “Uma, Oprah” sort of situation
I've noticed a lot of generic posts about severance, but nothing about like, idk the characters or the plot or how anyone feels when they watch it? Are people actually watching this show or is this ai marketing
I’ve known they are two different shows for a while, but in any given post about either of them I never register which one it is about. Like, if you asked me what each is about I could tell you. But if you asked me which the entire site spent all day posting about? No idea.
I knew they were different shoes but I’m still wondering how Shaun of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead, and Juan of the Dead are all different movies especially since the first two both came out in 2004.
I’m gonna be honest, I don’t know what any TV show is until my wife starts watching it. That’s how I ended up invested in stuff like Virgin River and Sullivan's Crossing.

then you'll still mix them up, I do.
the thing is i’m very beautiful and there are a lot of Shows
Was every third scene in a vehicle bigger than your owner’s home? That’s Succession there, fella.
Welp, i only found out about Breaking Bad the week it ended. These things just aren't on my radar
Severance is covert Matrix
