Despite this, I have very few complaints about the job thus far. It's just one profoundly incompetent person who just happens to be the head of licensing (everyone else in that department is just fine).

It's weird how the utter insanity of a current regime will cause me to miss the relative stability of the previous regime, like how Trump 1 made me think of Bush as a lesser monster, or how Trump 2 makes me think of Trump 1 as a lesser monster...when it's the same monster.

I stopped for medical reasons rather than feeling like I lost control...though, I must admit that I did go a bit too hard toward the end Doomsday and the beginning of the pandemic...which may be the reason why it is now a medical issue.

New job is going well, even though I'm home most of the time pretending to work due to complications with my PA gaming license.

I've dropped 10 pounds, which makes me feel a little more myself than I have for the past few years, or I guess that could be the depression meds working. Shrug.

On the physical front, after some medical news, I've stopped drinking. I'm on some regular medication for the first time in my life for cholesterol and depression (I'm still not sure if the second one is helping at all). Been more physically active, even if the winter makes that harder.
