Was thinking the same. Outfield is typically the fastest way to the big leagues for a bat first prospect. Plus an org lacking impact OF prospects could fast track him.

Also tv has become a medium for big stars which are not going to want to shoot on the same tv schedule viewers have been accustomed to over the years. So shows have to accommodate big star preferences & schedules to get them hence longer hiatuses
