as a bonus those pasty white arms quickly turn a vibrant pink, which studies have shown is the most visible color

The likelihood you've been right about the course of American politics over the last decade rises in direct proportion to how often you listen to Rage Against the Machine. Having studied political science hurts you a bit. Having worked as a political journalist hurts a lot.

I really like the natural drainage area in this development. I'm not sure it's an efficient use of space, but it's a nice break from the concrete jungle.

Is an occupancy tax legal under TN law? Would love to see some extra price pressure on the vacant units I see everywhere.

How do you find out about these events, anyway? I'm not fast enough to race but I'd be glad to ride on over and cheer y'all on!

We'll get through. Millions of people find fulfillment and meaning despite living under corrupt or autocratic regimes. We are losing the privilege of not having to worry. The saddest part for me is how willing people were to specifically ask for this. I never understood how tenuous it all was.

No worries, it never goes below 5! (I know this because mine is at 5... a lot)

Thanks for covering this! When even a fun non-partisan site like the Rabbit Hole takes a clear editorial stance on an issue you *know* it's a big deal. You have a chance to reach some people who vote R and don't read e.g. the Assembly. They deserve to know what their party is up to, too.

Nice post! This situation is exactly why I switched to jsbundling-rails, but I'll be sure to give this a shot next time.

Normal Human: what the fuck is he doing, the market is collapsing, his stated plan changes every day, I have no idea what is going to happen Fox News Human: look at how many gangsters he deported and how many men he kicked out of women's sports, I never get tired of winning

Is it possible that his advanced age has eroded his fitness for office in some way? I've heard that can sometimes happen to Presidents.

The markets were (mostly) convinced the whole time that he would fold. If stocks were priced as if these tariffs were real, the markets would've collapsed already. Likewise, they still think he'll cave on China. I wouldn't bet either way.

Wondering if you can actually see a spike in mortality from all the anxiety

LOL totally delusional on any meaningful human timescale, it would take a Manhattan Project to reach *9* percent within a decade (assuming there's actually any reason to) Exception: a near-extinction level event for humans (so we stop using power) but leaves datacenters intact

Listen I live west side but I heard a rumor that they actually have bike lanes over there in east.
