Historians will debate where it was the election in 2024 or 2016 (or even 2000) that put the US in decline for good.

This is generally true, and I try to avoid the Nazi label though "fascist" is definitely appropriate. They do have other aspects too like racial hatred that make them more similar to Nazis.

Whatever happened to the Democrats taking your guns? I guess the Leopards Taking People's Guns Party wasn't going to take *their* guns.

"Pam Bondi is on it." I know that's supposed to mean (sarcastically) that she's on the case, but I assumed it meant she was in on the money laundering.

I've seen "disinformation" used as a more accurate term to differentiate between lies and ignorance. I call it propaganda because I think that's an even more correct term for what we've had to endure for 10 years.

I grew up rural and have been in Des Moines over 20 years now. I agree the people back home judge the big city a whole lot more than we do them, and it's always negative. These are the same people who encouraged me to get educated and move here.

Ironically, I've been thinking lately about how there should be zero tolerance for citizens accidentally sent to foreign concentration camps. But they don't feel that way at all, even for women in men's sports. Only men in women's sports.

It's more likely Musk and Peter Thiel schemed to place Vance where he is so they can fulfill their dream of an oligarchy with them as the supreme leaders.

I suspect Musk made a deal to hack the election and keep Trump out of prison in exchange for carte blanche to remake the government his way. That's why Trump just allows it and runs interference for him.
