LOVE Hullbreaker Hard! It was one of the dungeons in expert roulette when I first reached endgame, so I've always had a soft spot for it.

Final Fantasy II Pixel Remaster (2021) - Miserable. Dungeon design is consistently tedious, frequently meanspirited. Leveling system is an unintuitive chore. Respect the experimentation for the time, but nothing here hasn't been done better since. No reason to play this one today. 1/5.

You do not state that he has no power to deploy the Guard without federalizing or invoking the Insurrection Act. Please correct your story to state he has not shown evidence of following the legal process. If the CA Guard deploys without confirmation they are following illegal orders.

Not gonna lie, my opinion on FF2 is rapidly becoming "this is terrible and there's no reason to play it besides nostalgia or you want to play every FF game." I respect the experimentation and that a lot of stuff in this game was the basis for stuff I love in later titles, but it's a huge miss for me

I think my conservative estimate for the number of rooms in dungeons that lead to an empty 3x5 space is like 2/3rds. It's ridiculous. And they spawn you in the middle of the room as well, so you have to walk multiple steps to get out.

is the storyline you get as part of your home city the "main story" for all intents and purposes? Or is there a different questline I'll eventually be doing as well? I want to get access to some of the expac jobs but I know doing so requires starting those stories and I wanna get through MSQ first.
