My favorite sign in all of Philly

I wish we could bring back AIM

I’m in the part of winter where all I want to do is stand in a scalding hot shower at least two times a day and just feel my feelings for a while.

I was going to go to a show tonight but I don’t feel like dressing cute when it’s this cold out (and going out not dressed cute is not an option).

True friendship is when a friend sends you this article about the new FLW house near Cleveland, and your reply is “sorry, I only put out for Brutalism” 🤷‍♀️ www.clevescene.com/cleveland/th...

Actually, I hope not. I’m happy that I’m able to live a life that keeps my phone full of strange and wonderful photos.

Mallwalk with me: Beaver Valley Mall, Monaca, Pennsylvania (April 2021)

Will my phone ever not have 7,000 pictures on it?

Finally got back to exercise. It’s day 1 all over again, and I’m ready. Because I already know what I can do 👌

True story: in 1998, I went to see Backstreet Boys one night, and to the Warped Tour the next day.

I had someone with a generic user name add me on co-star, and I added it because I’m nosy. Now I wish I knew who it was, because we’re hella compatible.

I’m finally watching the SNL50 concert and I just audibly said “oh no, Eddie Vedder” (but he sounds great!)

Dune was almost called Spice World

Just ordered black tights, sour patch kids, nicotine gum and lube, I’m ready for the apocalypse.

Cat update

I want to start a podcast called Certain Songs, where I’ll discuss music in various ways with guests. I want to talk to artists as well as super fans, rock and roll wives, roadies, merch guys, old dudes, etc. I need to make this happen. I was a guest on a music podcast recently and loved it.

I didn’t want to go to the bar tonight. Decided to stay home, eat soup, and watch Troop Beverly Hills 🍪 🌴 💃🏼

Thursdays are for the art museum

I love the names my niece comes up with for the rooms in my new house. Finished attic? “My all the way up room”. Half bath? The “creepy pee closet”. Full bath? “The rug room”. Solarium? “Mama and JJ hang out there with NO TV”

Watching the Fire Aid concert tonight, looking up how old every performer is

I keep waiting for Bsky to release their photo sharing app. I can’t wait to start over with my mall photos 🛍️ I’ve slowed down on IG because I feel like it’s not worth it anymore. I need to get a book out and then move onto a new project.

The nineties were colorful and whimsical, even at the gas station.

How I arrived on bsky

We had radiant heat at our old place, so heat registers are new to Penny. And since I’m a sucker, I’ve put beds in front of her favorite ones (one in the bedroom, and one in our dressing room/closet room).

Late night vibes

I didn’t have falling in love with Pure Comedy on my radar, but god damn, right album, right time.

Solarium update: put up my vintage sari curtains, which I had in our solarium at the old place. It took me nearly a year to thrift all of them. I love how these look, day and night. Can’t wait to paint the ceiling in there peacock blue to match the walls. Solarium vibes are so important!

Deleted my other X account permanently. Feels good.
