When someone says "but Musk isn't being paid. How would he get rich off this?"

One thing I haven't seen talked about is the fact that firing all these government employees will significantly increase the number of people looking for jobs across many sectors, thereby lowering bargaining power and lowering wages. Another gift to the billionaires

Gov. Mills: I’ll comply with the state and federal laws Trump: We are the federal law. You better do it because you’re not going to get any federal funds. Gov Mills: See you in court

It's interesting how I find myself more and more in her camp. How the turntables

Because Trump is a baby back bitch. Typical of a yuppie from Manhattan

In case you'd like to keep updated with the progress of Project 2025

They don't want to teach history so they can repeat it.

The reason I don't respect the supporters of doge is because they refuse to become informed before acting like their opinion is legitimate.

doge was never about helping America. It was always about Musk helping himself

One of our supporters shared this with us—people are getting creative tonight!

Remind you of anyone? [Cartoon by Brendan Loper]

The idiots at doge are not experts. Not by a long shot. They're dorks who crave power, money, and clout. They are a threat to America

My kind of cooking

So much for that oath to support and defend the Constitution

This is America, 2025 In one weekend (!!), one New York Times photographer, Doug Mills, travels from Gitmo to the Super Bowl to take two unforgettable images of where we're at as a nation

As if anyone actually believed that DOGE was about transparency

Why does the world's richest man want to gut the CFPB? Because it would shield him from having to follow financial laws to keep customers' money safe — and give him access to confidential records about his competitors. Follow the money.

Pete Hegseth needs that tattoo burned off his fucking arm.

The CFPB is literally the point of government. Protecting people from those who would violate their rights. But it doesn't protect billionaires, so Trump and Musk can't have that.

So the world's richest man spends a fortune backing Trump and is given the go-ahead to... -Run an "efficiency" agency despite having billions in govt contracts -Replace civil servants with his own cronies -Gain access to sensitive Treasury payment systems See the problem?

"Aides to Elon Musk charged with running the U.S. government human resources agency have locked career civil servants out of computer systems that contain the personal data of millions of federal employees, according to two agency officials." Unauthorized, no background check. What could go wrong?

I'm starting to see *some* people open up a bit about the idea of being at least somewhat wrong. It's annoying as fuck, like "finally!" but I need to offer some grace otherwise I'll push them away. As I desire some grace when I'm wrong, I should show grace to others

It hasn't even been a month and we're at the concentration camp phase. "We don't want them coming back so we're going to send them out to Guantanamo."

Sure, it was "only about deporting violent criminals." Constitution? What Constitution? www.reuters.com/world/us/tru...

While China is stepping up their cyber attacks, Trump is gutting CISA. So much for that whole "secure America" thing. But we all know it was just a lie to get back into power to help line his pockets and those of the people who helped him get in. It was never about America being great

Violence is a legitimate response to oppression.

Trump has always been the voice of the rich. He's just really good at conning people to think otherwise

The dude supports actual German Nazis, but sure, it was just an "awkward gesture"

Yeah, totally a man who cares about the little guy...

I'm really fucking disappointed in America just saying "well, American companies and the government has my data, so China can have it too" instead of "nobody should have my data"

The more I learn about the American healthcare system, it kinda hits me that I've been just way wrong about a great many things. I had a greatly oversimplified understanding, that I'm still working on.

Public transit does not need to be profitable to be a success. Highways and roads are never even remotely close to ever making a profit. Yet we don't take issue with massive funding for highway projects that will only cost more to maintain and barely ease traffic for a short period of time.

Every GOP accusation of election fraud is an admission

Am I just crazy or is truly nobody winning? Not liberals, conservatives, democrats, republicans, libertarians, green party people, budget hawks, whatever. Or maybe there is some who win. The rich and the corporations. That's it. Nobody else. And they turn us against each other so we forget them.

At the end of the day, the last 8 years can be summed up like so: 1. The Republicans have a ‘movement.’ It’s powered by nationalism and racism. 2. The Democrats don’t have a movement. They have two warring factions they demand support them once every 4 years. We are divided and conquered.

They made it so everyone is so busy and tired from just trying to survive, we don't have the time or energy to go after these politicians who bleed us dry to line their pockets and those of their rich friends.

Possibly the best clap back against ignorant antivaxxers.
