Back in the 80s one of our theaters ran it regularly. There’s a mop closet just outside the booth and the projectionist would run a hose through the port and spray the audience with cold water if he saw them spraying water guns at the screen. Got that story from the fire marshal, who used to attend.

We once lost a screen due to Rocky Horror. Someone swung a paper mâché phallus and the PVC pipe used for the structure flew out the end and punctured the screen. Never again.

Many years ago I was inspecting a reel that was clearly heads-out, but when I got past the countdown the image was upside-down. Threw me for a minute until I wound a bit further and realized that the opening shot was a reflection in a perfectly still body of water.
