Do you know what the plan is for ACA subsidies? Those fall off a cliff in 2026, causing the uninsured rate to jump, right? www.kff.org/affordable-c...

We are so f*cked. If the next pandemic doesn’t get us, climate change will.

So how do I know it’s Medicaid and not the other stuff?
First, Arrington, the chair of House Budget (who wrote the instructions to E&C) released a paper in January for potential cuts.
Lots of Medicaid cuts. Only a little bit of energy in E&C’s jurisdiction. And they say they’re not doing Medicare.

Let us not forget that this plan will also raise the deficit by 3 to 8 trillion dollars over 10 years. Far more than any cuts being proposed can cover.
A wild idea, No tax cuts for anyone, and make those earning over $1M per year taxes go up. Repeal the Reagan cuts.

Fox News is having nothing—they were complaining that the Tesla protestors were angry whereas the counter protestors were happy. Because people naturally protest when they’re happy!

Why do you hate him? I grew up in NJ and liked him as mayor of Newark but have very mixed feelings on him now but am not sure why. I have heard he’s pro big pharma.

I was curious about that as well. How are New Jerseyeans feeling?

President Trump, lover of women (provided they’re not old, poor, liberal, Muslim, immigrant, minority, disabled or sick).

Are Saudi Arabia and Israel the only countries left on our side? That doesn’t seem very stable.

Vance is scarily smart. He can actually spin nonsense (when he’s not being a bullying asshole) and make it sound sensible.

Sounds like a plan.

I can’t get back to the original post so I think you’re referring to Bernie, who made money writing books about his political ideas. That doesn’t bother me. You don’t have to like him but I find him inspiring.

I did. The person who read the data was fired and then the DNC shut out Bernie completely.

He’s been more of a moral compass than a bill passer, but I feel like he’s inspired a lot of progressive legislation.

Re: data, seems a gray area, but I’m a big Bernie fan and have never forgiven Hilary for shutting him out.

Nope, not a Republican, just concerned about someone who seems very environmentally friendly but is also connected to Elon, who at one time was environmentally friendly as well.

Why not Bernie?

Andy Kim and Tim Walz have recently held town halls and Bernie has been rallying with AOC. Rachel Maddow has good coverage.

I like Ro Khanna but this made me wary.
