What I hope we on the left are learning right now is that we cannot win unless we are as united as the right. We may think they are insane for toeing the line, but because they toe it, they win. And in order to unite, we need to go from, “no that’s not progressive enough” to “OK that’s good enough”.

Plastic wrap IS recyclable! It just depends on where you live. Usually there is a separate collection program because if you put soft plastic, like cling wrap, in mixed recycling - it will wrap around and jam the gears in the mixed recycling sorting equipment.

Random trash fact I learned working in waste management: any recyclable item smaller than like, a 2x3 inch rectangular cube will likely not get recycled. It will fall through gaps in the sorting and processing equipment and end up in landfill

It would be cool if Costco added a refill section to their store stores. They sell in bulk, but a lot of their customers don’t want to buy everything in bulk. A refill line of business could enable multiple people sharing in the cost of the bulk item, while only getting what they need.

Question, what happened to bands? Like, playing instruments with a lead vocalist? I’m sure if I spent some serious time searching and listening I could find some - but when I was in middle school, bands regularly had songs ranked in the top ## or whatever. Now it’s only individuals?

I think if you’re cheering for these insane deportations happening right now, you should never get to eat ethnic food again. Baked beans on toast and boiled plain chicken only. No seasoning. No margaritas, no sake bombs, no sushi, no Panda Express. No chipotle. No taco Tuesdays for you. Dumbass.
