Agreed. I am very lucky to not live in the states, just the Texas of Canada, and it's pretty much the same thing here. 😰

Oooh, that sounds really lovely! Where I live is zone 2a, so really short growing season & cooler, but I was able to get out briefly this summer and pick just enough wild blueberries for a summer ice cream treat - it was absolutely worth it!

Thank you!! It was very good, I made enough for 5 500 ml sized jars.... and then had tomatoes for spaghetti sauce, tomatoes for freezing, tomatoes for tomato bread... I was really blessed this year when my boss gave me like a large filing tote worth of tomatoes, I shared some with neighbors even!
