I’m really not on one side or the other here but, apart from the “typical BBC” nonsense, he’s right isn’t he? As he says, he’s not there out of concern for himself; he’s rich and will stay that way. His belief is farmers will suffer.

Could be! Think a lot of people believe this a gotcha which it isn’t. I really don’t think he or his family will be significantly poorer

So much about a book is where you’re at when you read it. I’m finding the dialogue jarring but I do love the concept. I’ll persevere at this point!
