Rita has been treated to a new distributor baseplate, points, condenser & spark plugs. I've also sprayed the rocker cover bronze which is close enough to original for me. I've also returned the radiator fan to black. I've modified the choke cable to suit the SU H1 carburettors #TriumphHerald

This, it needs repeating aggressively and repeatedly. Gas drove up electricity prices in UK, not renewables or wretched Net Zero.

But... but... they said state schools would be overwhelmed by pupils from private schools whose parents were rich enough to pay fees but not quite rich enough to pay VAT.

Well done Sadiq, a good decision taken in the face of extreme far right criticism. www.theguardian.com/environment/...

As a British citizen, I’m begging our media to stop reporting on Donald Fucking Trump like we live there. He’s not our sodding president! It’s like freakin tinnitus.

I ran 3km at the gym this morning for the first time in a few months. The B12 injections are having a +ve effect & not being in constant pain from an impacted wisdom tooth is liberating. If this continues I'll be doing 5km & attempting Park Run again by the time the local course is dry 💪🏃‍♂️

Fantastic, you've got to listen to the clip! www.theguardian.com/money/2025/f...

It’s #LGBTHistoryMonth in the UK so let’s begin by remembering Alan Turing, the father of the AI in the device you’re reading this on, a gay man as well and a prime example of a life cut short by not being allowed to be his whole self.

We in Europe remember that Canadians died to liberate our continent. In the face of Trump's madness, EU stands with Canada now! There is no reason why EU membership should be off the table. 🇪🇺🇨🇦

This is Rita's first owner. She was Olguita Monsanto Queeny, daughter of the founder of the infamous American Monsanto corporation. This was before she married Thomas Berington of Little Malvern Court and long before she owned Rita in 1960.
